Osborne commences commercial development for SEGRO
27 January 2009Osborne has started on site with the new £3.5 million commercial development for SEGRO. The project, on Yeovil Road in Slough, Berkshire, comprises the construction of 14 units housed in six blocks, including warehouse space.
The scheme forms part of SEGRO’s Slough Trading Estate, which is the largest estate of its kind in single ownership in Europe, providing 672,000 sq m of mixed-use space across 197 hectares. It will offer flexible solutions to tenants, with a provision for mezzanine floors and an option for offices if required.
The major challenge is the proximity of other commercial units which restrict the construction site. Traffic will be carefully managed throughout to overcome any issues and ensure easy access.
