Training has always been recognised as key to the success of our business. The growth and development of the company depends on the growth and development of our people; as individuals fulfil their potential so will Osborne.
We operate a number of professionally accredited construction schemes linked to practical experience and spanning the whole of the Osborne operation. They are accredited and approved by the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
Site experience continues until you have met all your training objectives, which are reviewed quarterly with your Mentor and a Director to ensure you are getting the right training and experience.
The Osborne Group Development Team (GDT) is a group of individuals spanning all areas within Osborne who work together on a 12-month programme supported by the University of Brighton. The focus of the GDT is on personal development and promoting a learning culture. Each session is a mix of practical exercises, open forum discussions and team debates.
Site-based project management is the bedrock of our company and our industry. As no existing course met our requirements we created the Construction Project Management Training Programme to meet our specific needs for training in the core skills needed to run a construction project. Successful completion of the three five-day modules leads to membership of the Association of Project Management.
