Community Involvement

"We were delighted to be given the opportunity to invest in the young people of Redbridge. Our sponsorship will help provide the support needed to ensure they have every chance of succeeding." Paul Thomas, Divisional Director

Sports team sponsored by Osborne

Osborne plays a positive role in the communities in which it works, both in our office locations and the communities where we have projects. Our staff have a real commitment to local issues, as can be seen from fund raising activities they get involved with. These include the 3 Peaks Challenge, organised by IT specialist COINS in aid of CARE International, and the British Heart Foundation’s London to Brighton Bike Ride.

Staff also organised events for local charities, including the Chichester Ship Canal Trust and an animal welfare centre.

Opportunities

Long term relationships with clients give us the opportunity to get involved in projects with genuine benefits to the people who live and work in their areas. A four-year school building framework with the London Borough of Redbridge has resulted in Osborne signing a sponsorship deal to support young people in Redbridge in sports activities in the run up to the 2012 London Olympics.

Osborne is a member of Business in the Community, a charity committed to helping member companies to improve their positive impact on society through the sharing of best practice.

Wherever we work we try to make sure our impact is positive. We employ and train local people to work on our sites, and have liaison staff who explain our projects to local residents, businesses, community groups and schools and listen to their concerns.
